November 6, 2006 Comprehensive Planning Commission

Members Present: Bill Danz, Anne Marie Kasbaum, Linda Smrcina Members Absent: Gerald Boomsma, Gary Luedeman Other Participants: None
Meeting called to order at 5:35PM. Motion by Anne Marie, seconded by Linda.
Meeting closed to public input so members can complete the business on hand. Attendance taken and recorded as indicated above. Minutes from previous meeting were approved as written.
� DISCUSSION ITEM: Linda, our representative for the Oconto County Planning Advisory Committee (OCPAC) and the Southern cluster, reported on the meetings held in October. Chapters 5 (natural, agricultural and cultural resources) and chapter 6 (population and housing) were reviewed and discussed. There is some concern as to how the results of the Oconto County overall plan will affect existing comprehensive planning/smart growth plans that were developed prior to this effort (at the towns expense) in the event there is a conflict.
� DISCUSSION ITEM: Bill discussed the fact that there has been more activity recently on our website. There have been several questions about lack of information and incorrect information. We discussed this briefly where Bill indicated errors were corrected. This item was tabled as two members were not in attendance and will be brought up again in December.
� FOLLOWUP ITEM: Gary was not available to discuss the new town hall and the budget questions. Will be put on next agenda.
� FOLLOWUP ITEM: As attendance at this meeting was minimal, it was decided to table the discussion item on tasks to be accomplished in 2007. Members, both present and absent, are asked to review chapter 9 for input to the next meeting.
