April 6, 2009 Comprehensive Planning Commission

Members Present: Jerry Boomsma, Bill Danz, Anne Marie Kasbaum, Members Absent: Gary Luedeman, Linda Smrcina Other Participants: Jim Peters
Meeting called to order at 5:45 PM. Motion by Anne Marie, seconded by Jerry.
Meeting closed to public input so members can complete the business on hand. Attendance taken and recorded as indicated above. Minutes from previous meeting were approved as written.
� AGENDA ITEM: Jim Peters, representing Peters�s Concrete presented maps and an application for continuance of quarry operations at Krueger�s Quarry. Jim indicated that there are no requested changes to present operations other that extending the conditional use permit for another 3 years as the present permit is about to expire. As there is no changes to present land use, a vote was requested to accept or reject this request. Voting results were 3-yea, 0-nay 2-absent. Approved application was given to Jim to bring to the next town board meeting for their review.
� DISCUSSION ITEM: As the elections are tomorrow, we need to consider finding another board member to be on our commission as Gary Luedeman is not running in this election and his term is up tomorrow. We also need to consider finding another full time and perhaps ad-hoc member to fill our required amounts. After the elections are complete, we will have to discuss this and decide how to proceed.
>Agenda items completed, chair opened meeting to public input. >Next meeting scheduled for May 4th at 5:30PM unless there are no agenda items brought forward. If none, the meeting will not be held and moved to the June timeframe. Jerry requested adjournment, seconded by Anne Marie, meeting adjourned.
