Members Present: Jerry Boomsma, Dennis Clark, Bill Danz, Anne Marie Kasbaum, Linda Smrcina Members Absent: None Other Participants: None
Meeting called to order at 5:35 PM. Motion by Linda, seconded by Anne Marie.
Meeting closed to public input so members can complete the business on hand. Attendance taken and recorded as indicated above. Minutes from previous meeting were approved as written.
� AGENDA ITEM: Rezone request. Dennis Clark, representing the Town of Pensaukee, presented maps and an application to rezone from a combination of Residential Single Family (R-1) and General Commercial (GC) to Community Service the properties owned by the town as described in Certified Survey Map (CSM) 2203. Bill asked the other members if they saw any conflict of interest with Dennis presenting as town chairperson. There was no objections so Dennis will be allowed to vote on this item. Bill and Linda asked Dennis if there are any tax implications that he knows of because of the rezone. Dennis is not aware of any. Dennis then indicated that this rezone will better position the town for possible grant monies in the future. The board members discussed the proposal and recommended this be approved as presented. Voting results were 5-yea, 0-nay 0- abstain. Approved application was given to Dennis to bring to the next town board meeting for their review.
� DISCUSSION ITEM: General Ordinances for the town. Members discussed several verbal concerns that have come up in the last year (example, lighting) and if there is a need for either us or the town to consider drafting up some more general ordinances to cover and better define the town�s position on certain issues. According to Dennis, the only know ordinances for the town the culvert and also the dog-at-large. Bill mentioned that we have a copy of the ordinance for the comprehensive planning. As a result of these discussions, the following action items were assigned for our next meeting to further discuss this matter.
>Agenda items completed, chair opened meeting to public input.
>Next meeting scheduled for September 1st at 5:30PM (NOTE that this is a Tuesday due to September 7th being Labor Day) unless there are no agenda items brought forward. If none, the meeting will not be held and moved to the October timeframe. Linda requested adjournment, seconded by Jerry, meeting adjourned.
