Pensaukee Town Board Meeting Minutes
January 10, 2012
Meeting called to order by Chairman Dennis Clark. Pledge of Allegiance was said.
Motion by Vernon, 2nd by Jacki to approve the agenda. Motion approved & carried.
Clerk’s report. Motion by Jacki, 2nd by Vernon to approve clerk’s report. Motion approved & carried.
Treasurer’s report. Balance on hand is $825,232.30. The board discussed why certain things were over budget. Motion by Vernon, 2nd by Jacki to approve treasurer’s report. Motion approved & carried.
Eli Raindancer was here from Critters Companions to discuss lost dogs and what can be done by those who the town has hired to take care of this.
Whippoorwill Lane discussed. Several people from the area involved were present. Dennis had pictures of the area and explained what the County feels should be done. Some of those present felt it should be left alone. Much discussion followed. Dennis will be contacting the homeowners by letter.
The board went into closed session to discuss the applications for Custodian. The meeting was re-convened. The board will offer the position to Carrie Olson. Motion by Vernon, 2nd by Dennis to offer the position to Carrie Olson. Motion approved and carried.
Randy gave a report on the Fire Dept.
Dan Bergh gave a report on the Recycling. The County has raised some prices, so we will have to consider raising ours.
Motion by Jacki, 2nd by Vernon to approve payment of bills. Motion approved and carried.
Motion by Jacki, 2nd by Vernon to adjourn. Motion approved and carried.
